(To My Best Friend- My Inspiration)
The eyes are the windows to the soul,
the lips hold the truths untold,
the mind controls all that is unknown,
yet, when the body feels sensations roll, and take hold, on all that we think we know.
It is then that a peak is reached,
as evidence is given that the flesh is weak,
our lips no longer speak,
eyes no longer peak,
Why?
Because the mind has allowed love to seep, into the depths of the soul, and it is then that the essence of our being can unfold, to tell the truths that weren`t to be told.
